The Regional Food Bank of Tillamook County, a program of Oregon Food Bank, supports and coordinates hunger-relief efforts. The Regional Food Bank of Tillamook County receives food from both Oregon Food Bank and local donors. The RFB of Tillamook County then distributes good donations equitably to 20 nonprofit agencies in Tillamook County, who, in turn, provide food directly to those in need. The 20 recipient agencies include food pantries as well as hot-meal sites, supplemental meal programs and youth programs such as summer meals.
In addition, The Regional Food Bank coordinates a senior brown bag program, which distributes about 70 bags of food monthly. Meals on Wheels volunteers through Northwest Senior and Disabled Services deliver the meals to help seniors supplement their food supply and improve nutrition.
