Getting a card, renewing materials, placing holds, etc.
Who can get a card
Any resident of Tillamook County may get a library card. Parents need to sign applications for children under 18. Please bring in one of the following:
- Oregon Driver's License/ID
- Voter's Registration Card
- Property Tax Receipt
- Electric Bill
- Water Bill
- Phone Bill
- Cable Bill
- Garbage Bill
Cards for Temporary Residents are $20/90 days. Nonresident cards cost $50/year.
Borrowing limits
Videos & DVDs check out for 7 days. Everything else checks out for 14 days
Library Fines
- Videos & DVDs $1.00/day
- Everything else $.05/day
Placing holds
- Go to www.beachbooks.org
- Type in keyword(s) in search box
- Click Find it!
- Select a record
- Click Details
- Click Place Hold
- Type in card number (no spaces)
- Type in PIN number (last 4 digits of telephone number)
- Select a pick up location
- Click Place Hold
Renewing your borrowed items
- Go to www.beachbooks.org
- Click My Account
- Click Renew My Materials
- Type in card number (no spaces)
- Type in PIN number (last 4 digits of telephone number)
- Cllick List Charged Items
- Check box to left of item(s) you want to renew
- Click Renew Selected Items
Reviewing Your Account
- Go towww.beachbooks.org
- Click My Account
- Click Review My Account
- Type in card number (no spaces)
- Type in PIN number (last 4 digits of telephone number)
- Click Display User Information
- Check box to left of title you no longer wish to have on hold
- Click Cancel Selected Holds
