Circulation Services
Library circulation services are a vital part of the Tillamook County Library System. Patron comments and suggestions are always welcome.
Services provided by the circulation staff include:
- Checking library materials in/out,
- Resolving fine/overdue problems,
- Routing materials between library branches,
- Answering the telephone,
- Calling patrons when reserves become available,
- Signing patrons up for the Internet,
- Providing friendly and professional customer service.
For Children and Teens
There are many opportunities for area children and teens to participate in library reading programs throughout the county.- Bay City Storytime, Tuesdays at 3:00pm
- Garibaldi Storytime, Thursdays at 3:30pm
- Manzanita Storytime, Saturdays at 11:00am
- Pacific City Storytime, Tuesdays at 4:00pm
- Rockaway Beach Storytime, Mondays, grades 4-6 at 4:00pm; Tuesdays, grades 1-3 at 4:00pm; Thursdays, ages 3-5 at 3:00pm.
- Tillamook Main Branch Storytime, Wednesdays, ages 3-5 at 10:00am; Thursdays, ages 3-5 at 10:00am; Thursdays, ages 6-12 at 4:00pm.
Summer reading programs are available at all library branches each June
through August. Special events and programs are scheduled throughout the year. Please contact your local branch for more
information.

Outreach Ativities
The
Tillamook County Library Bookmobile travels countywide providing
services to retirement homes, rural farms and patrons, housebound
individuals and schools. The bookmobile is on the road Tuesday -
Friday and is a complete mobile library. Feel free to visit the
bookmobile at any of its scheduled stops around the county.
The Library's Collection
Patrons may check out a wide variety of library materials at the Tillamook Main Branch Library and other library branches:
- Books
- Books on tape/cd
- Music on cassette/cd
- Magazines
- Videos/dvds
- Story kits
The Oregon/Northwest section features nonfiction books of local and
regional interest. A large file of local interest articles from
area newspapers and other sources is also available.
Community Spaces in the Library
Two community meeting rooms will be available at the new Tillamook County Main Branch with a combined total seating capacity of 200.
